The Fourth Sex Culture Festival was recently unveiled in Guangzhou. With promoting Sex Moral as the theme for this year's sex culture festival, some ambiguous concepts on sex were also made clear during the sex culture activity, Nanfang Daily reported.

According to Zhu Jiaming, executive deputy director of the Guangdong Sexological Society, the third sex revolution is taking place in China. Having sex solely for pleasure has become the main feature for this revolution and as a result, many people have experienced extramarital sex relationships, one-night stands, or sex transactions. Unusual sex behaviors such as homosexual relationship are also on the increase.

Why have extra marital relationships increased? Why has the divorce rate become so high today?

In response to these questions, Zhang Feng, director of the Guangdong Family Planning Committee and the director of the Guangdong Sexological Society, says that many people do not have a right attitude towards sex issue.

During an investigation, a male migrant worker once admitted that he had had as many as 17 sex partners. Not only migrant workers, many middle school students also have sexual relations at an improperly early age and some female students even become pregnant. In regard to this problem, Zhang says more sex education should be given to middle school students.

Zhang, who is also the deputy chairperson of the China Sexological Society calls for establishing a set of sex moralities in society. On the whole, people should not look for sexual pleasure at the expense of other people's family happiness. Social harmony can be attained only when everybody lives in happiness.
